Des Moines Underground Film Festival

The Des Moines Underground Film Festival (or DSM UFF) is a community-first, non-profit film festival at Des Moines Social Club.

The logomark takes design language inspiration from film festival and theater logos such as Tribeca, Sundance, Slamdance, and The Public Theater while maintaining a youthful individuality. My goal for this logo is to build an identity that will carry the festival through its formative years as it continues to establish its messaging.

A tote bag with the step and repeat checkerboard logo. A fun, disruptive, and eye-catching design that references 90s grunge and rave graphics.

A second tote bag design featuring the collage artwork from the event poster, adjusted.
