Genr8 Conference

This speculative design project is a continued rebrand of the now defunct Generate Conference. View the previous redesign from 2016.

Brand Board divided into three sections. Left section contains the Genr8 Austin Texas 2023 logo in white with orange accents. Top right shows a color palette (Orange, White, Olive, Very Dark Green Black), "Bitmap Grunge- vintage computer aesthetics and progressive color palettes collaged through pop grunge", and a section of typography using a pixelated serif font, Carbon for headlines, and Sora for body type. Bottom left are graphic assets set in black and white checkerboard- mostly pixelated brushes and blocky patterns.

Genr8 is a cutting edge conference for digital designers and developers. Bitmap grunge leans on nostalgia and surprising color palettes to achieve an eye-catching and energetic brand system.

"Day One Program- Back Side & Cover- Accordion fold session program" An accordion/zig-zag fold program is spread fanned out, showing all the pages on the back and cover side. Pages are broken up into halves with Track A on top and Track B on bottom. Various session titles, descriptions, and colorful (orange and olive green) splashes of graphic assets in the background. The cover shows the logo and "Day One-" with a list of session presenters.

Loves science fiction, garment sewing, vintage and designer toys, and collecting books and VHS tapes.
